Hi,

Meftal P syrup is a brand name for a medication containing mefenamic acid, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). While NSAIDs can have side effects, including gastrointestinal issues. Blood in the stool is not a known common side effect of mefenamic acid or Meftal P syrup.

However, any instance of blood in the stool should be taken seriously and evaluated by a healthcare professional. It could be indicative of a different underlying condition, such as gastrointestinal bleeding, hemorrhoids, or other issues.

It is highly possible that you may have overdosed on any medication, including Meftal P syrup. It is absolutely crucial to immediately seek medical attention for guidance. They will be able to provide appropriate advice based on your specific circumstances.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
