Is Pregnancy Possible While On Mirena IUD?

Hello last time I had intercourse was july3.. I have been having many pregnancy symptoms. I keep taking urine test all come back negative, so I went in to the ER for major cramping. They wanted to see what was wrong they did not think I was pregnant since I have mirena IUD. So they did a CT scan to see what else it could be. Basically they said they didn t find anything. Follow up with your doctor. I did today and my doctor states nancy your pregnant?!? What he sai my charts say I have an ACTIVE pregnancy. I don t understand I came home a took another test also negative. Am I or am I not. Hopefully will have blood work done soon. But did they see a fetus in the CT scan or what s going on did someone make a mistake?

Hi, the best option to get cleared about your pregnancy issues is to get done a HCG blood sampling on alternate days and consult an OB&G and do a transvaginal scanning,to know the position of your IUD .
