Is Pregnancy Possible Through Pre-ejaculatory Fluid?
Hi! I have a question regarding my Depo shot. My boyfriend and I had sex on Wednesday evening and twice on Thursday. We didn t use a condom and I am on the shot. I just got my second shot today and it is on time. My boyfriend didn t ejaculate inside me and hasn t ever. However, I m wondering if because I was so close to a due date for a shot that the effects of the shot have worn off, and I might have a chance of being pregnant from pre ejaculate? If there is any chance I could be pregnant I am still in the 72 hours range for plan b and I could go buy some however I d rather not if I have nothing to worry about.
Hi The chances of being pregnant are just too slim for 2 reasons: 1. Your depo shot was still valid and it is a pretty reliable method of contraception even though not 100%.However, renewal dates for Depo are always well calculated and failure is never due to being close to renewal date. 2.Pregnancy from precum(pre-ejaculatory fluid) is very unlikely or almost impossible.Precum contains little or no sperms and if any sperms, they are mostly dead sperms. If he never ejaculated in you, then do not be scared I do not think there is a need for an emergency contraceptive Hope my answer will help you Best regards
