Is Pregnancy Possible In Women With Partial Hysterectomy?
HI Dr., I have a girl friend who is 48 y.o and she is claiming she s pregnant. Now I know 48 year olds can get pregnant, however I found it yo be a bit confusing when she also stated that she wasn t having periods anymore and she had a partial hysterectomy. Also, the icing on the cake was that she conceived naturally (no fertility Dr). Is this possible for someone her age, with her health complications (high blood pressure, acute arthritis,)?

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the history then pregnancy may not be possible, beside the hysterectomy woman can be conceived even if not having regular menses but in case of hysterectomy it is just out of question, hope this helps, take care.
