Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking An Emergency Contraceptive Pill After Unprotected Intercourse?

Hi, I had unprotected sex 3 days after finishing my period and then took ECP the following day and wanted to know if there s still a chance I could get pregnant? I ve heard from some people who still have and just wanted to understand it a bit more. I know the pill is 95% effective but what are the chances I could ger pregnant?

Hi Dear XXX ! I have home through your question and I understand your concern.

I would say that the chance of getting pregnant is very low ,low than 5%.
If you have a regular cycle of 28 days , means that your ovulation is 14 days before your period , so the day you have unprotected sex probably you did have no any ovulation egg
( you need an ovulation to be pregnant )
And taking ECP "morning after pill" low the chance of pregnancy .
