Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking An I-pill?

Hi Doc, I was on Yasmin contraceptives till last month (For a period of 3 months). However since it did not suit me, I did not take it last month. I finished my last pack and stopped. I got my periods on 29th June 2017. Me and husband had unprotected sex on 12th July 2017. I took an Ipill within 48 hours. I havent got my period yet. Does stopping oral contraceptives or Ipill push periods? Neither did I have withdrawal bleeding. AM i pregnant?

Hello,
Welcom to Healthmagic,
As you had sex mid of your period there (that is generally the ovulation time).
To rule out the condition you need to go for home kit pregnancy test at least.
Yeah, sometimes it may not work but mostly Ipill works,
So there are least chances of pregnancy but you must go for pregnancy test to rule out.
Regards
Dr Muzaffar
