Hadley I have my period the 22 of june had unprotected sex the 29 of june took postinor 2 the 30 of june....haven t gotten my period yet...took a pregnancy test friday it was negative. ...still worried still no period yet....could I be pregnant or its just late be cuz of the postinor 2....this is CC... hug my pierod the 22nd of June I don t protected sex the 29th of June to question on tour with 30th of June haven t gotten my period yet took a pregnancy test Friday it was negative still worried still not be ready yet could I be pregnant or its just late because had my period return to stick on them has unprotected sex between 10 and 12 June cook pasta note to the 30th of June haven t gotten my period yet took a pregnancy test Friday it was negative feel worried my. Hi,

Thanks for posting in HCM.

Postinor 2 is an emergency contraceptive pill. You have done the right thing by taking it within 24 hours of unprotected sex (to be taken within 72 hours).

But, if you do not get your period within 3 weeks of taking the tablets you must see your doctor, as you may be pregnant. This is because, such pills only offers protection up to 89% in preventing pregnancy.

Kindly get the following investigations done:
1. Blood for beta-HCG
2. Trans Vaginal ultrasound Scan (TVS)

Seek Gynecologist opinion with the reports and for proper management at the earliest.
