Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Ipills?

Hello Sir. My menstrual cycle usually happens on the second week of the month. Last month I got my periods on the first week i.e. around the dates 5-7. This month I had unprotected sex on 1,2&3. Today is the 6th and I just had ipill some moments ago. Am still worried. Will the pill work? How will I know if it worked? And what more preventive measures can i take?

Hello dear
I understand your concern
You have did sex on 1st, 1nd and 3rd date and took I pill on the 6th.
You have taken pill between 48-72 hours after the sex.
So it has 80-85% success rate in preventing the pregnancy.
There is no test or symptoms tht tell about the proper working of the I pill.
Now just wait for the period to come.
If period will delay by more than 12 days then go for urine pregnancy test and or blood HCG to confirm the pregnancy.
If you will be get pregnant the still you can terminate the intrauterine pregnancy by the abortion pill under the advise of the gynecologist.
Avoid stress, take healthy diet, drink plenty of water and do regular exercise.
