Hi doctor.. i am 27 years old. I have missed my periods my date was between 10th - 15th of October.. last month I had a delay of 3 days so was worried of pregnancy and went to the doctor and she advised me Deviry 10 mg for 5 days 2 times in a day but there was no need as the same day I got my periods.. last night I had unprotected sex with my husband and I took a ipill aa well as Deviry 10mg.. I checked for home pregnancy test its negative.. I am scared are there chances of getting pregnant as I had unprotected sex last night? is deviry tablet helps in fertility.. I am very scared please advise I don t want to get pregnant.. and also please advise me the best medicine to get my period ASAP

Hi,

1. Once you have taken i-pill after unprotected intercourse then you are surely not going to conceive as it is an emergency contraception method.

2. As you are taking Deviry also which works on regulating ovulation and thereby preventing pregnancy. Since you have taken one tablet, you need to take it for 5 days twice a day. You will get your periods.
