Is Pregnancy Possible At The Age Of 46?

hi Doc.Im E 46 years old. My period stopped oct 2016. I was trying to get pregnant. I remarried 2 years ago. my husband 40 years old. is there any possibility to get pregnant? and what madicine or vitamin I can take to get my period. thank you if you can answer my questions

Hi, I think you should do a AMH, FSH and estradiol test to see if there are follicles in your ovaries or not. Also do a ultrasound to see the number of follicles in ovaries. If there are no follicles and tests suggest you have attained menopause, you have to undergo IVF with donor eggs to get pregnant. If follicles are there, you can undergo IVF with own eggs but chances of pregnancy is less and miscarriages is high due to poor quality of eggs. Hope I have answered your question..
