Is Pregnancy Possible After Protected Sex?

I had sex 1 week and 6 days ago for the first time. My hymen was broken but I did not bleed a lot. The day after I had severe abdominal pain and urges to go to the bathroom but did not pee. I went to the doctor and they diagnosed that it was an UTI, after going through several testing (MRI, urine test, ultrasound, blood test). I knew it was my hymen that was broken and that was the reason I was like bleeding while I peed, too. The thing is that now my period is late for 3 days. I took a pharmacy pregnancy test and it turned out negative but I don t know if that was even the right time to take it. Even tough we used protection and he did not ejaculate, I m a afraid there s still a chance of pregnancy. Another question I had was that if the gynaecologist can know if you are a virgin by going in for an appointment to see if you can take contraception pills to regulate your cycle.

Hello
I appreciate your concern.
Looking at your description, chances of pregnancy are unlikely as you used protection and he didn't ejaculate, so you need not to worry.

Yes, it is right time to take urine pregnancy card test, it comes positive after 10 to 14 days of possible conception or 2 or 3 days after the expected date of period.

Delay in period may be related to number of reasons like hormonal imbalances, infection or stress and anxiety.

Yes, gynaecologist can very easily make out by examination that you are Virgin or not.

In my opinion you should see a gynaecologist for physical examination and investigation like ultrasound or hormonal study to find out underlying cause for delay in period and accordingly further course of action.

Hope this answers your question, pleas feel free to ask for further clarification, I will happily answer you.
Best wishes
