Is Plan B Causing Yeast Infection To Reoccur After Taking Canesoral?

I had unprotected sex on Saturday, and took plan b on Sunday. On Tuesday I got a yeast infection, I am very prone to them, could that be from the plan b? I took canesoral, but it only went away for a day or two now it s back. Could I try another treatment?

Hello,
I had gone through your query and understand your concerns.
As your having fungal infection following unprotected sex. The infection might be the vaginal candidiasis (yeast) infections.
You have taken Canosoral drug for the infection. It usually starts to work within one day, but it may take 3 days for your symptoms to improve and up to 7 days for your symptoms to disappear
It is very important that this medicine be taken as suggested by your doctor.
If you have not discussed this with your doctor speak to your doctor.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Thank you.
