Is Pink Vaginal Discharge And Abdominal Cramps Normal Post Intake Of Canesten?

I took 1-day canesten tablet 3 weeks ago due to yeast infection and I recovered. However, 1 week before my menses is due, the yeast infection came back again with slight cramps and severed backache. My menses is supposed to be due today and I spot light pink discharge. Is it normal?

Hello,

I don't think the cramps and pain together with spotting may be related to the yeast infection you have had recently.

I think this is just related to period pain. You can do a vaginal smear to check for possible yeast infection. Best time to do it is after your period.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
