Is Persistent Weakness And Excess Sweating A Serious Concern For Heart Patients?

My husband states that when he woke up this morning he became very weak and began to sweat profusely. It took several minutes (appreciate 30 minutes) to cool down and feel a little better. Past history includes a heart attack with 3 scents placed approximately 11 years ago. He is 55 years old and about 280 pounds, smokes cigarettes. Should he be concerned? What might this be? This happened a couple of times a few months ago.
