Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I believe I have a kidney stone but did not feel much pain in my lower back when the stone dropped from my kidney. I only have pain occasionally when I urinate (feels like the stone is stuck in the shaft...is that possible?). I have had a kidney stone in the past but it came with extreme pain in the side and back. Could this be a UTI? I am very confident that it is not an STD as I have not been sexually actoive for over 6 monhts.
Hi, From your history it seems that there might be having urinary tract infection. Possibility of having stone is there. If stone stuck up in ureter or urethra there might be having severe pain. Go for routine urine check up of urine for pus cells and RBC. After report go for treatment accordingly. Take plenty of water. Ok and take care.
