Is Painful Urination A Symptom Of UTI?

I believe I have a kidney stone but did not feel much pain in my lower back when the stone dropped from my kidney. I only have pain occasionally when I urinate (feels like the stone is stuck in the shaft...is that possible?). I have had a kidney stone in the past but it came with extreme pain in the side and back. Could this be a UTI? I am very confident that it is not an STD as I have not been sexually actoive for over 6 monhts.
