Is Pain In The Buttock Caused By A Fall A Cause For Concern?

Hi, Last tuesday i fell down the stairs and hit my left buttock. I had a small pain and went to the hospital, but i was fine and did not think it was important since i hit my buttock. Right now my buttock has bruised and I have a pain on my buttock and my lower back. Is this normal or should I see a doctor?

Hi...Can understand your concern...As per your query about pain in buttock due to falling from stairs is that muscle got injured and it takes sometime for the nerves to respond to injury and contusion...You need to worry if there is mild pain and apply topical gel like volitra or any diclofenac gel 3-4 times ,hot water bags will also help.take analgesic like paracetamol orally ....But if you feel a severe pain you should get an xray done and consult a physician... for its proper examination and treatment...I hope the information helps you...You are welcome on HCM for further query...Take care.
