Is Numbness, Post Local Anaesthesia, Normal After Seven And A Half Hours?

Hello, I had a mole removed about 7 and a half hours ago, but the local anesthesia has not yet worn off. My arm in the spot where it was numbed still has no sensation, even though the doctor said the anesthesia would only last a few hours. Is this normal?

Thanks for posting your query . Usually local anesthetic effect wean off within 1-2 hrs . but it also depend upon witch drug and what dose was used for giving local anesthesia , because it duration of action is different for drug . wait for few more hrs and if it persist consult to your surgeon for local examination and rule out any nerve injury .
