Is Numbness Of Forearm, A Side Effect Of Hydrochlorothiazide?

About 4 weeks ago I woke up and both hands and forearms were numb. Over the course of the 4 weeks, it has diminished to just the tip of both index fingers(100% of the time) and the middle fingers (20% of the time). I was taking hydrochlorothiazide to help with statis eczema in my legs but stopped when I discovered numbness was a possible side effect, that was two weeks ago. I find it strange that the numbness is symetrical. Any answers?
