Is Mild Swelling Post A Daith Piercing A Concern?

I have insurance that is paying at 100%. Do I still need to pay? I had my daith pierced about 37 days ago. It has gotten a little swollen as did my vagus piercing. With daily antibacterial washing and sea salt cleansing my vagus got well and it is perfect. My daith has helped me not have a migraine at all. It does not hurt to touch or to pull on the earring but I wonder if I can take Clindamyin or Cipro to maybe help it along

Hello,

Daith piercings are prone to redness and swelling. In most cases this will fade after a few days and usually looks much worst than it is. If the piercing was done with a ring and the placement is correct with the right size it will lay comfortable against the ear.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
