General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello.
People with type 2 diabetes are often known to suffer with recurrent attacks of fungal infections and are more prone to them. It is important to get a detailed evaluation of the bumps and exclude the chances of STDs. It is also important to maintain good hygiene. Wash the tip if the penis with water every time after using the washroom, change the undergarments frequently, avoid using soap and clean with plain water. Yogurt is a rich source of probiotic that help in the growth of normal bacteria. It is also important to maintain the blood sugar levels within normal limits. Metallic taste could be from the antifungal cream. Urine analysis and blood test to exclude STDs would be needed.
