Is Lymph Nodes Swelling Postpartum Caused Due To Tonsil Stones?

Hi, swollen lymph nodes postpartum, have lasted approx. 2 months. Extreme dizziness that comes and goes. Ultrasound of my neck confirmed the swollen nodule and CT scan was recommended. My lymph nodes are very swollen, painful to touch and my tonsils appear to have tonsil stones.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Tonsil stones can cause a recurrent infection in the tonsils.

I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the pain.

I also suggest using a throat spray for local application.

If the symptoms continue, I suggest to consult an ENT specialist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,

Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
