My daughter has a lump on the medial side of her knee. It doesn't look bruised, it hurts when she bends it, but not when she's running around playing. It is the size of a nickel, with a firm but squishy consistency. Could this be a common injury, or should I be concerned?
The age and duration is not clear. It appears to be a benign cyst or a lipoma by the history. It is better to get a consultant opinion for diagnosis and management may be a minor surgery for complete cure.
