Is Lowered Dosage Of Taxim-O Advisable For Pus Cells In Stools?

Hello doc My son is 1yr 8 months old is 9.10kg. Since 3 days he had loose stool, doc suggested us to do some tests likw urine &stool routine. Urine was normal but stool showed pus cells numerous n mucus present. Doc advised Taxim o 50gm 4ml twice for 5 days, but I gav him Taxim o 15mg 2.5ml.. I noticed that I purchased incorrectly. Pls advise.

Thanks for posting your query to HCM.
Drug doses are standardised as per body weight and distribution of drug in body tissue .If you will give him low dose it will not reach up to level of its peak concentration which is required to kill the micro-organism .
SO dont give low dose , give him dose suggested by your clinician otherwise he will not get any benifit .
