Is Lower Back Pain A Symptom Of Kidney Disease?

I have constant mild to moderate pain on both sides of my lower back for the past 2 days - I ve never had any kidney issues before, but can t think of any exercise or any activity I ve done that would make me sore in those areas. No other symptoms that I can think of - just wondering if this is more than likely a kidney infection, or could it be something else? Is it something I need to see my doctor about or wait to see if it worsens/persists.
