Is Light Pink Liquid Seepage Normal After Wound Cauterization?

This morning, my dermetologist removed two skin spots on my head and cauterized the wound areas. I thought cauterizing was supposed to stop all bleeding and "seal the wounds up". He said I could "disregard them" and shower, etc. Several times this evening, I've blotted up a small amount of light-pink liquid seeping out from the Bandaids. Is this normal to expect in the first 24-36 hours of the healing process? Thank you.
