Hi doc, i had protected sex with CSW. About 10 mins.of the penetration i pulled my penis in her vagina then the condom slip in my penis. She put again the condom and continue the course till i cum. I pulled my penis slowly with the condom. What's the risk i have of hiv? After 3mos.i bought hiv home kit test result was negative. But after exposure i had symptoms appear after 2wks.onwards. in the corner of lips lesion and in my throat dry with something uneasy feeling inside but no difficult in swallowing. My mouth also i notice is dry. Untill now its been 4months and half still persist. So worried i read these symptoms are related to hiv ars. Can u help me doc i need your answer. Thank you very much.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain chances of contracting HIV after having protected intercourse are very less and the first thing that you should confirm is that the CSW that you had intercourse with is HIV positive or not..

Secondly the conversion of HIV to AIDS that is when the symptoms appear does not occur so early that is within 2 weeks and can take a longer time that is about years for it to occur..

The symptoms of lesions at the corner of the lips that can be due to angular chelitis and can be due to causes like Iron deficiency or Anemia, fungal infection, ill fitting dentures, loss of teeth leads to folds of skin at the mouth corners, systemic diseases like Coeliac disease etc..
As you are also experiencing Dry Mouth it can also be a cause..

I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like microscopic examination of the scrapings from the lip corners, blood tests etc can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

As of now you can apply a thick coat of a petroleum jelly over the lip corners..
You can also do cool compreses..
Apply a combination of antibiotic and antifungal ointment..
For dry mouth chew sugarfree chewing gums and also suck tart candies..
Drink plenty of water..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
