Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Post cardiac ablation anti-arrythmic medication should be continued as per the advice of cardiologist. Our body has a unique tendency to rejenuvate. During cardiac ablation procedures the extra set of conduction fibres are ablated and a scar is formed, but even the scar tissue can be proarrythmogenic in nature, you need to attach a holter again to see the nature of beats. Consult you cardiologist and start antiarrythmics again.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Rishu Saxena
