Is Laparoscopic Surgery A Permanent Solution For P.U.J Obstruction?

My dotter had p.u.j. Obstruction and had developed an abscess and was operated 2 yrs ago. She developed pain 4 mths ago and underwent pylo pasty (stent in) twice. For a permanent solution is it advisable to go in for a laparoscopic surgery and are there any experts for this in Bangalore or Mumbai?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

Laproscopic surgery is the treatment of PUJ obstruction. It depend on type and cause of obstruction. Her pain and abscess are due to obstruction. So if surgery is possible for her obstruction then it should be done. You can consult any urosurgeon. They are the best for this kind of surgery.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
