Is Lactare Effective As Birth Control Pill?
hi... my doctor prescribed LACTARE capsules one @ night, for 3 to 6 months as a birth control..also the doctor advised for no need of any other contraceptive like condoms etc while taking Lactare...i m married since one and a half month and dont want pregnancy for 5, 6 months...i just got to know through internet that these LACTARE capsules are for feeding mothers for inducing milk...then how Lactare is a birth control??

I don't know why he prescribed lactatre as birth control pill, when there are good pills for this purpose in the market.
Discontinue it and contact your doctor and tell him to prescribe normal pills like yasmin etcetera.
If possible, I can talk to your doctor too for the reason behind use of lactare as OCP.
