hello doctor, I am a first time mom. I have a baby girl who was born premie (36 weeks). She weighs 2.6 kg at birth. After 12 days, she was hospitalized due to sepsis, and her weight went down to 1.8 kg upon admission. She was on antibiotic for 3 weeks. She is bottle-fed because I have low supply of milk. She s taking multivitamins, ascorbic acid, ferrous sulfate, and folic acid. She gained pretty well on her 2nd month..from 1.8kg she went up to 3.4 kg. But on her 3rd month, she just weigh 3.8kg which is considered severely underweight according to her age. She s on s26 gold. She only consume 12-16oz of milk a day. She s been taking heraclene for 6 days now but still her appetite is very poor. Help me pls. Do I need to change her milk? or is there something wrong with her? Is it possible that she i still on the stage of recovering? Thanks in advance..
