Is It Safe To Take Two Tab Of Istamet Twice A Day Having The Diabetes Under Control?

my blood sugar levels are fasting 121 mg & post prandial 137. Previously I was taking one tab of PIO M-15 daily. But now I have been prescribed to take two tab of Istamet 50/500 one in morning & other tab at night. Please suggest what to do?

There are two issues here
1. have your sugar tested again. if they are stable, you can continue medicine
2. are you developing any symptoms of hypoglycemia, like sweating, vertigo etc. if not, its ok to continue medicines

but why were the medicine changed?
