Is It Safe To Take Ziotec And Mahacef During Miscarriage?

Hi, I had miscarriage for the second time. I started bleeding heavily 2 days back and my doc inserted 2 cytotec 400mg anally as I was bleeding. After 1 day doc prescribed to take 2 zitotec 200mg for 3 days and mahacef CV 200 mg 2 Tab s for 5 days,.........currently I m tkg these tabs, will this help me to drop the particles completely? And how long will it take?

Hi,

Yes, these medicines are safe and effective for miscarriage. Based on the history you seem to have had an incomplete abortion and your doctor administered cytotec followed by zitotec. Cytotec and zitotec are commonly prescribed for the treatment of incomplete abortion. The bleeding may continue for 3 to 4 days and it may take 1 to 2 weeks to ensure complete abortion. Mahacf CV-200 is used to treat infection associated with abortion.
