Is It Safe To Take Thyrox 25 While Trying To Conceive?
I am 28 years old lady trying for pregnancy , I have TSH - 4.00 miuiu/ml and having T4 =1.14 ng/dl in CLIA method. Is this figures creating any problem to get pregnant as we are trying since six months to get pregnancy. Top of that I have PCOS(Poly cystic Ovary) diagnosed last 1.5 years and I am taking Glyciphage 850 medication since then and periods are regular now. Recently my gyno doctor suggested to take Thyrox 25 based on these figures. Is it ok to take this medication on this range while trying for pregnancy. Thanks & Regards, Shaswati

I really appreciate your concern, endocrine dysfunction may not cause any obstruction in pregnancy and one can be pregnant with the endocrine dysfunction, in my opinion better to keep trying for this regardless the endocrine dysfunction, chances of conception would be likely, hope this information helps, take care.
