Is It Safe To Take Regestrone For Delayed Periods?

Hi I got my last period on April 17th. Till now i didn t get it and neither any symptoms of getting it. Met a gyenic and she asked me to take regestrone 5 mg for 5 days and then she will give me another tab to regularise my period. Is it safe to have it. Please suggest.

Regestrone is 'Norethindrone', which is synthetic oral progestin.
It used for the treatment of secondary amenorrhea, which means absence of periods for few months and not due to pregnancy.
Kindly take regestrone 5 mg tab for 5 days as advised by your doctor.
You should get periods in 2-5 days.
