Is It Safe To Take Omez Tablet Daily With Alcohol Consumption?
Please advise if I can take Omez tablet daily or not ? or any other alternative please. ... Is it safe to take alcohol during this periods, does there any danger for th .... in hot weather, take a break and drink water after every twenty to thirty minutes.
It is not advisable to take alcohol while taking omez. Omez is a proton pump inhibitor which acts by suppressing the stomach acid and thus used to treat stomach acidity issues such as reflux disease, gastritis, and stomach ulcer.
Alcohol causes irritation of your your digestive system. Drinking even a small amount makes your stomach produce more acid than usual, which can in turn cause gastritis. This triggers stomach pain, vomiting, and even bleeding.
Since you are already taking omez for some stomach acidity issues and by consuming alcohol it may have serious complications. So it is better to avoid consuming alcohol.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
