Is It Safe To Take Nitrostat Several Times A Day?

quadruple bypass 8 months ago, now having to take nitrostat at least twice a day at different times, chest pain wakes me up at night, and lots of stress and physical exertion at work that I just cant do anymore, any suggestions? Ok to take nitrostat several times a day. Only have to do it one pill at a time

Are you taking any other medications with it if not start taking nicorandil 10 mg twice a day and Ranolazine-od 500 mg once a day and switch to Sustained release Nitroglycerin nitrocontin 6.5 once in morning.These medications will take care of your chest pain on exertion & otherwise Once it gets controlled you can stop ranolazine and continue rest medications i prescribed.
