Hello Dr I m 7 month pregnant nd going thru bad cold flu fever my gynec had precribed me mox 500 mg 3 times a day steam nd gargle. Nd taking crocin500 for pain relief nd fever for 3 times a day it is safe to do all dis . Having cold and flu frm last 5 days

Crocin contains paracetamol or acetaminophen with caffaine. Among these paracetamol is safe in pregnancy. But caffaine (category C) is not quite safe in pregnancy as it can cross the placenta. So its recommended to take paracetamol only containing medication to control pain and fever.
Mox 500 contains amoxicillin which is found to be safe in pregnancy. Gargle will also help you to get symptomatic relief. Proper rest with healthy diet riched with fluids are also recommended.
