Is It Safe To Take Ibuprofen For Headache And Fever?
I have a fever, headache and anginas and every time I take medicine it brings the fever and headaches down, my question is: "why after the pills stop working does the fever and headaches hit me more than usual?" P.S. The medicine is ibuprofen and I only take 2 every four hours
Hello It seems from the history that you are having headache and fever and you are on treatment with ibuprofen. Ibuprofen is a non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug and it is effective against fever and headache. The recurrence of fever and headache once the effect of drug is gone indicates that the treatment is only for symptoms and since the cause is still persisting fever is recurring. Hence I advice you to consult your physician to find out the underlying cause and treat the cause.
Thank you
