Is It Safe To Take Hydroxyzine With Heart Medications?

I am taking hydroxyzine, 25mg, twice a day for 30 days to treat dermographism. I also have CAD and am taking a cholesterol medicine, a blood thinner, and a blood pressure medicine. Is it safe to take the hydroxyzine with these heart meds? Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thank you for asking on HealthcareMagic.com, providing better healthcare for you. I have gone through your case and I can understand your concern. Hydroxyzine is very safe for you. It doesn't interact with your heart drugs & also isn't contraindicated in therapeutic dosage with CAD. However it should be used cautiously in patients with cardiovascular disease, because it may have side effects such as: tachycardia, palpitation, ECG changes, arrhythmias & hypotension. Please don't forget to give your valuable feedback and five star rating, to help me assist you in a better way. Click at 'I Find This Answer Helpful too'. Please, write a review about your experience with me.
