Is It Safe To Take Hucog5000 For Thyroid Problems While Pregnant?
I am a thyaroid patient 5 week pregnent doctor says till now heartbeat of my baby should come but its not visible in ultrasound so i have to take injection hucog5000 every week for atleast 2 months. is it safe for my child or it will have some side effects . please advice
It is safe to take this drug durng pregnancy. It is the same natural occurring hormone that is being produced during pregnancy to help the fetus grow. I suspect the doctor seem to think there is a deficiency and he wants to correct it.It is safe but I will like you to ask him what the exact reasons for prescribing this medications are.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarification should need be. Dr. Ditah, MD.
