Is It Safe To Take HIV Medication And Accutane Together?

Hello, I was just wondering if it is safe to take HIV medication s (Atripla) and Accutane together? My cousin has a current CD4 count of 700+ and has been undetectable for 2+ years. He also does not drink whatsoever and continues with a pretty healthy diet which consists of a lot of water intake. Thank you in advance for your help.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

One of the medications in the combination drug atripla can affect the levels of the accutane.

It can potentially decrease the levels and the effects of the accutane. This is the only noted effect but you can consider discussing with the doctor.

I hope this helps
