General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Yes, it safe to take these medicines during periods. Gyne-CVP contains multivitamins and minerals (including iron) which is commonly prescribed to treat and prevent anemia that may occur due to persistent menstrual bleeding. Tranlok-E is a combination of medicines ethamsylate and tranexamic acid which is commonly prescribed for the treatment of abnormal menstrual bleeding. Continue to take them as prescribed.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
