Is It Safe To Take Glycomet While Trying To Conceive?

I am 30 and we have just started trying to conceive. Before starting I went to a doctor and she confirmed I have no symptoms of pcos but still did an internal scan where she found 1 follicle in right ovary and 2 in left and told me I have pcos. Without any hormone or blood test or asking any medical history she immediately asked me to go on glycomet 500mg twice daily. I m sceptic about taking medicines before trying normally at least once. Will it affect the baby? The doctor scared me saying I will have miscarriage if I don t take it.is this true?

Glycomet is mtformin and most suitable drug for the treatment for pcod cases .

Ans: No, it will not effect at all .
Q Will have miscarriage ?
Ans: No
Since different doctor have different opinion and experience according to their knowledge, so I can 't say any thing .
But this is most acceptable drug for PCOD cases .
In my opinion take this tablet and also try for conception , when there is no side effect on your baby so why not take it .
