Is It Safe To Take Glycomet And PPG To Control Diabetes?
Hi, I am 62. having uncontrolled diabetes. went high up to 407 in May15, even after havinh Humen mixtard 25 units BBF and Duatral twice a day. Now Dr. has stopped insulin and prescribed Glycomet GP3/850 twice with PPG 0.3mg once after lunch. Sugar lavel PP 264. please advise. Ulhas Tavsalkar Thane, Maharashtra

Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns. You are currently prescribed both Gycomet and PPG. This is not an uncommon combination for the treatment of diabetes. All three ingredients in these medications approach diabetes in a different way and together are very effective in getting control. So I recommend you follow your doctors advice and take these medications
