Is It Safe To Take Dexorange For Acidity And Chest Pain?
HI,I am diagnosed with Anemia. and my doctor suggested me OroferXTtotal tablet and i am feeling acidity and chest pain after taking it in the afternoon after meal.when i called the doc and reported this, she suggested me to use dexorange syrup twice a day for 3 months.I am having gastric problem, how safe the syrup for me to consume?

OroferXT causes gastric irritation and leads to acute gastritis. That is what has caused you.
You can take Pantoprazole 40 mg tablet once a day before food for 10 days for it to subside.
Dexorange syrup is relatively safe and does not cause much gastric irritation. Hence you can consume it without much problems.
