Is It Safe To Take CoQ10 For High BP?

I have been taking Propranolol for migraines/high blood pressure for long time,but I am trying to ween myself off the medication,so I can start taking coq10,but when I try to do that my blood pressure goes up what can I do and is it safe to take coq10 for blood pressure?

Coenzyme Q 10 plays a fundamental role in the mitochondria, the parts of the cell that produce energy from glucose and fatty acids. It is generally used in addition to, rather than instead of, standard therapies.

Coenzyme Q 10 is generally well safe medication and rather helps in reducing blood pressure.

So increase in blood pressure should not be because of CoQ10, but still to confirm - you can try discontinue for some days and check if blood pressure comes to normal.
