Hi doctor, we are planning to have one more baby. We had sex on sunday,her m-cycle stopped on friday. as she was suffering from fever and cold for past 3 to 4 days we consulted a doctor and doctor suggested her to take augmentin duo 625. She took the tab once...dear doctor tell us is it safe to take Augmentin duo 625 further as we are planning to have a baby...

Yes it is safe to take Augmentin tablet while trying to conceive. Augmentin 625 duo contains amoxicillin 500mg & potassium clauvulate 125mg . IT is good antibiotic to treat upper respiratory infection like cold, fever etc.
It is also very safe antibiotic. It would cause no problem in conceiving. It is also safer in pregnant women as compared to other antibiotics.

So don't worry you should take this as suggested by your doctor.
