Is It Safe To Take 150 Mg Of Metoprolol In A Day?
I have been taking metoprolol tartrate 50mg 2x a day for quite a while, since my last md visit he wants me to start taking 2 tablets in the morning and 1 in evening. I am concerned that 150 mg per day is too much. my b/p was 158/92 it usually runs around 140 to 153 over 85 to 92. Is this a safe dosage?

hi, as long as your pulse remain over 60 beats per minute, it can be safely taken even upto 200 mg/day.
