Hi, just now i saw the laboratory report of my boyfriend. We and found out he is hepatitis core antibody reactive. Hepatitis b antibody reactive; Hepatitis b surface antigen non reactive. Question is it safe to have sex with a hepatitis core antibody reactive? thanks!!!

it is safe to have sex with a person who is having hbsag that is hepatitis surface antigen negative. because he is not in reactive stage now. having enough antibodies. but for precautionary basis you should have protected sex with condom. so don't worry. hope my answer is thankful and helpful to you. take care and have a healthy life.
