Is It Safe To Have Sex While Having Ostomy Bag Attached To Abdomen?

hello I m suffering from abdominal tb I had a laprotomy surgery to cure my intestinal obstruction in july I have an ostomy bag attached on my abdomen its aprox 4 mnths is it safe for me to have sex with my wife will it pay stress on my stoma or inner stitches can I lip lock with my wife or it may infect her too ???

Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
Yes.after initial days of healing & recovery, sex can be done with Ostomy bag attached to abdomen. .. with few precautions.
- GEt back to intimacy slowly to get sense of confidence & enjoyment gradually. Start with touching/ kissing.
- Discuss with your wife, & go ahead with her.co operation .
- Clean the ostomy bag . Use ostomy bag cover after proper fitting the attachment. Try other comfortable position .
Practise & precaution would help you in having sex.
